Codes4free.cc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy describes how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512 . This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use by reference.
1. Designated Copyright Agent
We have designated the following agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement. Notices sent to any other address may not be processed.
Designated Copyright Agent
Codes4free.cc
Email: [dmca@codes4free.cc]
Mail: [Your Physical Mailing Address]
We are required to register our designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Failing to do so can result in losing safe harbor protection even if a policy is published on the site .
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Codes4free.cc infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send a written notice to the agent above. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If the notice covers multiple works on the Service, a representative list is sufficient.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it—typically the URL of the review page, comment, or content in question.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good faith belief that the contested use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
A notice that does not substantially comply with these requirements may not constitute effective notice and may be returned for correction. We may share a copy of the takedown notice (including your contact information) with the user who posted the content so they can decide whether to submit a counter-notification.
3. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the agent above. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal (include the full URL).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located—or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Codes4free.cc may be found—and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person’s agent.
4. What Happens After a Counter-Notification
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless that party files a court action seeking a restraining order against the user who submitted the counter-notification within [10–14] business days, we may restore the removed material.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Codes4free.cc maintains a repeat infringer policy. Users who receive [three] valid copyright strikes within any rolling [18]-month period may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated. A “strike” is a recorded instance in which we remove or disable access to content based on a copyright complaint we reasonably believe is valid, and the user does not successfully vacate it through appeal or counter-notice.
Termination includes permanent closure of the account, removal of associated content, and refusal of future accounts where we can reasonably identify the same person. This policy must be actually implemented in practice, not just published—courts measure the gap between the written policy and real enforcement.
6. Important Note on Reviews and Opinions
Codes4free.cc publishes independent reviews and opinions about digital products. Copyright law protects original expression (such as product code, images, or written descriptions), but it does not protect ideas, facts, or honest critical opinions. If your notice concerns a review that expresses a negative opinion or criticism of a product, please be aware that such content is generally protected speech and may not constitute copyright infringement.
7. Misrepresentation Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing—or that material was removed by mistake—may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
